That's fine, but without providing any supporting data you will excuse me if I don't just take your word for it. You can always go with AMD since they don't use e-cores and their cores are generally more power efficient. Though I wouldn't go so far as saying they outperform Intel CPUs.
RYZEN GANG 4LYFE
It's running poorly for many people with Ryzen's as well. Stop going by what the resident know nothing is saying here.
And nobody should be disabling cores for any specific game.
It's the recent game update, it's not your hardware. Happening on my PC after the game ran at a steady 60fps other than forested areas with heavy rain and the poison mist (which I think about everyone got dips with). Ever since the update, I get frequent FPS drops.
Nothing to be done about it unless Fromsoftware fixes it..
You may find a future patch resolves the stutter. I initially had no problems until a short while ago. I lowered settings despite the fact it was running ok before. Now it's running better but I still have to play on lower settings. Today's high end rig quickly becomes mid-range but you should be ok for awhile yet. I recommend restoring e-cores as it may negatively impact other apps and especially since win 11 utilizes them. For reference my setup is above and running on medium settings mostly. Tbh, I don't see any difference visually between high and medium. Perhaps if viewed side by side it would be more apparent.
Medium settings hits grass/vegetation hard. It also causes shadow flickering even more on trees. This game should be fully playable at 60fps at 1080p with decent to good hardware.
Even Dark Souls 3 has had stuttering introduced with it's latest patch since the servers came back for PC. I don't know what the hell Fromsoftware is doing tech side, but they need to bring in a new team for that because who they have now is just not doing a good job.
My Testsystem with a fx8350 CPU rund this game with similar FPS but no stutters , if the problem reappeared there are additional things to check it is not normal that this happen, check the Windows event viewer for constant logging and for a bios update for examble.
i dont auto update drivers so im good. u mite wanna roll bak to an earlier driver to see if it helps.
Glad to hear you fixed. Sounds like you’re just outside of warranty. I would let asus know of your experiences.
