The analogy certainly breaks down because it is not the job of the developer to teach the player. But it is in their interest to do so. FromSoft would never have included that tutorial cave if it did not believe this to some extent. And I have played enough to think FromSoft is attempting to do just that in a less ham-fisted manner than that half-thought-through bullet-time parry tutorial mechanic I suggested. You can literaly get into the "secret" within the camp (where usually people get the horse) and get the ash of war and both weapons completely stealth, there is a full stealth tutorial there (and you can also stealth kill everything or most guards there and learn the "trumpet guy" will call others in case he sees you (another tutorial thing just there) and all that with "2" (not one but 2) sites of grace very near (so uyou can go and try it again and again there).

You can farm up hundreds of levels fairly early in the game, and do lots of summons to get to that point. You just have to know where to go. Or in other words, this game is as easy as you want it to be.

Its nice to see VLDL on this thread you don't really see them mentioned all that much. Anyway back to the subject matter i'm almost positive this guy is fishing for clowns right now. Same with every other thread on this matter that's come out after the first few months of the games release. I mean this is a pretty well known thing at this point so i'd be more surprised if this was a genuine statement.

You know what, youj made me curious and IK started reading his posts on other games..
His post on Civ VI is hilariously troll, like, loooool.

His post on SF 6 and so on.

All he do is "bruteforce something as bad in the game" (literaly any and every game) and carry on with it.

And Lords of the Fallen being "another middle earth clone" . . . I have Middle Earth, Middle Earth is as much to LotF as Nier Automata is to Dark Souls.

And at Tekken 8, he is asking for denuvo to the game!!!!

What to say about Tomb Raider 1 to 3 (the classic PS1 TRs).. him asking for checkpoints at these games; "I really hope these remasters will have checkpoints with the ability of saving anywhere (manuel save)."
Meanwhile the gaames allow you to literaly save "anywhere anytime" and for an infinite amount of times, lol (different from the PS1 games where you had limited amount of saves and at specific locations only).

At this point I give you that, he is literaly just desperately trying to farm jesters ... and I seriously dont understand the reason to farm steam points. What do you do with it other than profile background, avatar, some emotes and profile page stuff?

this game does not need a difficulty because of its leveling capabilities. you do not need a difficulty setting when its up to you whether you level up your gear and call summons to have this game very easy, or to have it hard

It does have a high learning curve but it is pretty well balanced for single player.
You can also summon people to help you.

With that said any game that describes it self as "Dark Souls esque" tends to be of the most hard variety.

If you want an easy game with combat I suggest Monster Hunter Rise ( not world )

Rise is very casual in comparison
World is a whole different level once you hit ice borne.
