You have no idea what you're talking about, do you? Fromsoft studios has TEAMS that work on multiple projects at once. These teams interchange employees to assist other projects when needed. Fromsoft used to be relatively small, but with its rising success in recent years, it has grown. Not nearly to the size of studios like Bethesda, Nintendo, or Ubi, but it isn't necessarily "small." The expansion has been in development for a while if you actually researched it

they never set a release date, it'll come out when it comes out.
They've made multiple projects at a time for decades.
Ninja Blade was made alongside Demon's Souls. Armored Core V and was being created alongside Dark Souls. Bloodborne was made alongside Dark Souls 2. Sekiro was being made alongside Dark Souls 3. Elden Ring was being made alongside both Sekiro, Dark Souls 3 DLC, and Armored Core VI.
