Best Faith Weapon?

So I did a post a lil bit ago about the best seal for a more or less pure faith build (ty for the quick and decisive answer on that community!) But I thought I'd check something else, for someone mostly pumping faith over everything kinda like playing a wizard with INT above all; what's the best faith weapon to get my hands on?

My friends and I are doing seamless co-op together and I did just get my hands on the Cipher Pata recently, but I have seen some back and forth on things like the winged scythe or golden halberd or things like that. What should be my end goal for my melee weapon?

Pure faith won't be as efficient with most melee weapons. Most of them operate best if you invest into other stats as well like STR or DEX. If you are dead set on pure melee faith, then your best choice is Coded Sword or Cipher Pata. In case you also intend to use ashes of war (even from range), then you may try Blasphemous Blade Sword of Night and Flame (flame skill) or Sacred Relic Sword, these weapons will be quite powerful even if you don't want to invest into STR (other than equip requirement). If you intend to use weapons such as Winged Scythe or Golden Halberd it is recommended to invest into DEX/STR.

I've only leveled up faith. The Cipher Pata is pretty great, but I might try the Coded Sword out a bit too. For anything resistant to holy, I've been opting for catch flame or black flame instead. You don't really need anything else.

Something like the Winged Scythe or Golden Halberd is more of a hybrid weapon, so it's inappropriate for a faithy boy to use one. If you're willing to do that, why not just get an Uchigatana or any other weapon and give it a flame or sacred infusion?

I like coded sword more than cipher. You can also dual wield it with golden epitaph if you feel like it

I see, I may level up str/dex or something like that as a tertiary stat later down when I'm happy with my faith as I'm mostly the party's caster/buff guy; but I'll definitely keep all this in mind! The Coded sword is in the roundtable hold in the capitol right? I'll try to remember that when we get there to grab it. Tho tbh the scythe does sound cool too lol.
