Any way to get rid of surplus lantern?

I bought both lanterns, because a little thing called OCD, and now I want to get rid of one of them since I don't need it, but you can't sell it, and I can't seem to drop it, either.

Yeah it automatically gets stored there because you can only carry one anyway.
But I'm looking for a way to get rid of the second one completely.
Why they even have two vendors selling this thing if there's no point to having two.
I wish buying it from one vendor depleted both of their inventories of it.

They do this to some items just like in ds3 you cant do anything but put them in storage

Hell, they could do the same to the lantern as they did to spells, you can buy spells you already know but it just won't do anything, just a waste of runes - honestly preferable with my OCD.

there is a script on the grand archives cheat engine table that allows you to discard any item, including lantern, but it must be used offline with an offline launcher like lukeyuis offline launcher on nexus mods.

its not possible to get rid of within the normal bounds of the game, but if you *really* want to clean out your storage box, you can.

Very high as you have it cant get rid of it and are changing something to do so and thats what EAC flags up in general

You can use DsMapStudio, open regulation.bin and set the lantern to be able to be discarded =)

After that you use Mod Engine 2.0 to run your modded file, discard the extra lantern and in Mod Engine you are always offline so you don't have to worry, after that you just run the game through steam as always

A little late here, but could you expound on how to do this? I recently accidentally added an error item to my inventory with a cheat table, and it won’t let me get rid of it. I have Dsmapstudio, but still know very little about how to use it.
