If you dual wield use both unless you can get 2 nagakibas by trading or in NG+. Dual wielding deals more damage, especially with some damage boost talismans like rotten insignia
At the moment i have a uchigatana 2h so you suggest for max damage should i go take the 2nd uchigatana in the catacombs ans going dual wield ? And also wath ashes to use ?
Usually, heavier weapon does way more damage but these two are kinda equal.
Get an interresting AoW on your left-hand uchigatana. A blood art if you put some point in arcane, or else lighting will be strong with their Dex scaling.
Piercing Fang on the nagakiba is solid, for it's reach and poise damage, so you can keep it.
You are better off powerstancing katanas or curved swords until you get RoB, or you can use Blood slash ashes (from Fort Joy, you can get that quite early) and 2 hand your weapon.
W8 last question so a nagakiba with Unseather ashes on it its better to use it 2 hands and if i want to focus on normal attacks dual wield is best choice right ?
You could carry a frying pan, for as long as you knew how to use it and liked it
