Who else started in NG+ for Shadows of the Erdtree?

Figured I'd should take a crack at NG+ to get some extra prep the DLC. I know we don't have release date yet, but some extra level levels and gear would not hurt, plus try some new weapons or builds.

Figured I'd try the Executioner's Blade as my main weapon, since all I needed to do was build some Arcane to go along with my original build and for at least the minor starting bosses melt if I can land the ash of war, which is still taking some practice. I don't have all the stuff to max the build, but got enough to get it started and get a little revenge on some of the mini bosses that terrorized me back in the first playthrough.

I'm keeping my main at ng+1 for the dlc, rest of my alts are at ng+

I took my main to NG+ to finish what i wanted but judging by past history the DLC bosses are usually harder and the higher the NG well they can be tough cookies

Marrgot went down easily enough, though a +9 executioner used by a 289 level character is a bit overkill for starting bosses. Pretty sure I can power through most of the starting region without much trouble, but expecting the mid and late game areas to remind me this is a souls game

Ehh, you're probably making the DLC harder than it needs to be. But if that's your thing, go for it.

Personally, I'll start the DLC with my NG character.

...glad its NG+1 then, minimize the increase. Was farming at that hill near the blood palace and thought that it might easier with the rune boost NG+ provides once I can get back there. Will need to avoid going NG+2 or higher to avoid too much boosting for the DLC
