Low Frame Rate In Elden Ring (
I have recently got an Elden ring, and I am getting a very low frame rate. I am running an RTX 3070 TI and a Ryzen 7 1800x. I've tried many fixes such as disabling anti-cheat, going offline, and putting the game on high performance. These fixes got me to 40-50 fps, but not a stable 60 fps. The only downside to this is I can't access Elden Ring online, which I really want to. Is there a solution to get more fps?

At what frequency is your RAM running? How many RAM modules are installed?

This game is bandwidth hungry. If your RAM is running at too low frequencies or in single channel mode you will not reach 60 FPS.

Also is your Mainboards bios up to date ?

u dont say resolution or settings level or RAM speed

but that combo should get you 60fps at 1080p no problem. if not ur doing it wrong

should have gone with 5600x tbh tho

Running off an ssd always help, if you're not already, but I'd imagine your cpu is working it's nuts off.

I have two 8 gb ram sticks that run on 1067 MHz, I also run the game in 1080p.

This is for sure the one issue that's kept me from truly falling in love with ER...most of the time it runs buttery smooth perfect 60fps and then out of nowhere it drops to 9 frames and takes up to 5 seconds to level out...it's completely unpredictable and it's killed my vibe for the game on multiple occasions.

If I were to get a new CPU what would you recommend?

Your RAM is running than in 2133 MHz dual channel, this is too low for 60FPS.
For stable 60 FPS you need 3000MHz dual channel or better.
