I'm both excited and scared about that.
It's great if they'll be good but also the same good directors and devs won't be able work on all of them so the quality might drop.
This is already a game.
Biggest middle finger to Quantum TV who said that hogwarts legacy would make elden ring a foot note in 2023. Im glad they aren’t doing something souls related again this early. I’d want a sekiro sequel next, and I’d be happy if we don’t see another elden ring game for a long while, that way it can come out full fleshed and not rushed.
And since a lot of folks are still on those last-gen systems, the game has a good shot of surpassing Elden Ring's whopping 17 million copies sold milestone. Things are about to get very spicy, and I'm here for it,
Fromsoft had leaks turn up to be true more than once. Even the new armored core got leaked way before the announcement.
Also the name is a placeholder, every game of theirs had one. Bloodborne was Project Beast and Elden Ring was called Great Rune lmao
Plus the youtuber didn't make anything up himself, the leak was by someone else.
ER is over 20 million not 17
It will probably get another decent boost in sales when the expansion comes out
I highly doubt Hogwarts will surpass it and if it does it won't be by much. Not like it matters anyway
I actually think Hogwarts now has a very good shot at surpassing it, especially considering the recent release of the last-gen versions and the fact that the game already surpassed the lifetime sales of Elden Ring in the UK in just a month.
But yes - it doesn't really matter to us in the end. Just get ready for countless threads here from highly insecure folks who think that having more great games to play other than Elden Ring is a crime lol.
We'll see I guess. Also yeah it's not really surprising that something related to Harry Potter did extremely well in UK lol
As for the insecure thing it applies to many more fanbases not just fromsoft. CDPR and Nintendo fans can be really annoying as well.
Especially with Nintendo fans I'm expecting some insane outrage if Zelda doesn't win GOTY this year
