Multiple classes start with a shield that can parry. Bandit starts with the buckler.

Well, try looking at the "shields" page on Fextra. I'm sure you can figure out the rest from there.

It's very possible that could, indeed, happen.

You can even buy the parry ash of war and put it on some weapons and shields that don't normally have parry. Maybe someone will explain this and tell you the exact location in great detail.

The only options you have are the Beast Crest Heater Shield or the Blue-Gold Kite Shield.

If all else fails, you can look for the Brass Shield from soldiers of Godrick but it's quite heavy ~7 and not worth it when you have better shields available in Limgrave.

Don't those janky wooden shields the Demi-Humans drop have Parry? Perfect weapon for a Wretched.
Most of the smaller shields I've come across have it... but since they were all inferior to the starting shield I got as a Confessor (Blue Crest Heater Shield), I've still not swapped it out.

That said, the parry timing on my Confessor shield is way too difficult for me to pull off. I need to get my hands on the Buckler somehow.
