Seemless Co-OP Mod

Mine is no longer opening, crashes after white loading screen. updated the mod and still no luck. Does this have to do with the new update? any direction on how to fix is appreciated. Wish I had started this build on the base game.

Updates very often break mods, you will likely have to wait until the mod is updated.

They're working on updating the mod currently so you'll just have to wait for them to be done, check the discord for updates

Yep good old fromsoft forcing an update on the game when i don't even want to play on their trash peer 2 peer servers with Denuvo on. Also wondering why it's taking over 30 minutes for this patch to actually get applied. I could uninstall the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and reinstall it faster than this does fromsoft not know how to make a patch? Pretty sure they got the same amateur hour BS that blizzard has going on with their patches where if a single file in a directory gets touched they have to reinstall the entire directory.

yeah wish I could just choose NOT to update games via steam and stick with old versions sometimes.

game is still "base" though your character is saved to the singleplayer computer files, not Online only. the co-op adds very little but I play it as a co-op only b/c I rather have fun with friends rather than summons (that are seriously OP, not nearly as OP as magic) though where a single glintstone pebble will kill most bosses with little or no effort hence why I absolutly refuse to use any sort of magic, faith buff magic is ok but no offence ones. lol

Almost everytime a game get update, mods may break. In the case of seamless, its specially true.

There may be a mod update sooner or later to fix it back to work with latest update.

You can always disable Steam auto-updates for Elden Ring, and wait until the mod is updated to update the game then.

Also OP you don't have to worry about losing your save data. When the update for the mod comes out and you install it your character should still be there. Mine have been the last few updates. The mod creator is usually fast and if there is going to be a delay he also runs a discord you can join. They can give you a more accurate time frame if it is going to take longer than a few days which i doubt.

whenever you uses mods on any game, go into properties and stop the auto update on that game

I do have auto update disabled for this game. Sometimes it just decides to ignore it and do it anyway.

iv enjoyed it as well, just hate my build is stuck to the MOD is all. Sounds like if you try and move it you'll likely get a ban.

Thats good to hear! Just wish that saved data could be opened/used with the 'base' game and not be victim of this! going forward i like the suggestion of disabling the auto updates while having MODs. hope that works going forward.

Well it turns out that you're not the only one playing this game. I know, I know. Its a staggering fact to digest. Some of us welcome buffs to certain things. Its okay, you can survive not playing for a few days while the mods get updated.
