Game crashes when summoned to another world?

I'll be summoned by using Tarnished's Furled Finger, and today the game crashed 2x in a row as I was being summoned. Closes out instantly and immediately to desktop couple seconds after I receive notification of being summoned. Is this a known issue?

I did that, it's the first thing i check along with the updating gpu driver

Was working okay until I got to godrick the gafted. Don't want to keep trying because not sure if i will get banned.

Make a windows system check.
Open command prompt as Administrator and run.
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
After this is finished
Sfc /scannow
Let us know if there where errors found.

Uninstall you most recent security windows update. I'm on win 11 and everything's back to normal with summoning. Win 10 is similar to 11 so it should work

Yeah i think new patch introduced conflicts between windows update and EAC. I had the same crashes whenever someone tried to summon me. I used dark-breed’s suggestion related to windows and it worked surprisingly. It can still happen once in a while but not all the time with this solution

exactly. it's the same reason why peoples printers are working one day and the next day they can't get their printer to work. it's windows.

I followed through on the system check and it did find an error or errors (can't remember)

I was summoned twice an no crashes so far. Keeping fingers crossed and thanks for the suggestion
