getting banned for leaving the game with alt+f4

i started playing this game recently and now i cant enter online mode cuz i left with alt+f4 thanks devs :)
edit: i got unbanned and i was banned for like 5hrs, and no i did not dodge any invasions since i didnt get invaded even once, i just left the game with alt+f4 and it said something about not leaving the game trough the settings tab and then it said suspicious activity detected and i was logged out and couldnt log back in, thanks for all replies!

My game often crash because of bad PC performance (have to do alt + F4 sometimes) and I never got banned, this is bait

what message you get ?

alt+f4 just cause a short time ban of maximum 8h normally and the first time you get a warning for it so if you got a 180 days ban for alt+f4 you have done it more often than once in short time.

Next time.. alt f4 at white screen. I do that since they started banning people for it.

I think its temporary ban. I dont know much but you either have to make few in-game hours, or just wait few days

I have seen other games issue temp bans to rage quitters.

Yes, thanks devs, you are not supposed to ALT+F4 and even if you did it once or twice it would not result in a ban (I know because game crashed twice 1 day and closed twice within 30min that I was trying to help someone and I did not get the soft ban) meaning you did it often.
It prob is a soft ban, just try to dont do it again when you are able to return to online.

it also does not ban you when you do that in singleplayer, so yeah, OP rage quitted alot in multiplayer.

My game froze last night due to alt-tabbing a few times. Got the message about quitting properly when I came back in. No ban. No Event Viewer entry.

The only way is to turn off your pc to quit it's the same on Playstation you have to turn off the Playstation or they consider that your Ragequit, of course you are banned if it happens several times after it's never definitive just temporary

And what do you do if your internet is unstable or you crash? eh?

Let's be clear this system is awful and immoral because it punishes most of the time mere players who don't have the means to have a solid engine and get banned, it's awful and meanwhile the hackers are having a party...

How many hackers have caused simple players to be banned? All the content with rankings are ruined by them and yet nothing is done but they have time to punish the innocent...

My PC is old and will freeze from time to time. I have never been banned for alt-F4ing.
