Sorcerer Sellen quest line

I'm trying to get the azur set for which you need to complete Sellens quest line which I'm following a guide for but I'm stuck.
I'm at the point near the fourth church of Marika where Sellen is bound underground nearby.
In the video he then removed her soul or something and the quest continues. But I can't take her soul, she keeps saying: it will do no good I swear it, and yet you persist you frothing degenerates.

That's it, I'm stuck in this quest line, what am I missing?

Did you talk to sellen, she's says that if she doesn't recognize you.

I talked to the one that teaches you spells.

That's the one, do all of her dialog. If your looking to free someone who isn't her.

Well I won't straight up tell you, however there are 3 areas in the game that has magic users in it, Carian Manor, The academy, and the town of Sellia. With the exception of a single one up a mountain cliff.

If your looking for her you may just need to exhaust her dialog before talking to the real sellen.

Cause in his video there's also a step missing. You have to defeat radahn first.

You need to talk to both sellens, the guy from radahn castle and also see seleen’s secret doll/mannequin. Without seeing replacement body first Sellene won’t have the idea of moving her soul.

once you do radhan then go back after and kill the 2 bosses jerren should have moved to sellens cellar

Thanks guys I resolved the quest and got lazur and lusat clothes.

Many things not included in the video guides, maybe it's too expansive of a quest.

But indeed I needed to defeat redahn and talk to witch hunter jerren. Even then it was broken cause I couldn't find him where he's supposed to be in the cellar with Sellen, but I could go immediately to the room where you fought the moon queen and pick the sign to help jerren or sellen, I chose sellen ofcourse.

As a side note, redahn is supposed to be very hard right? I was actually planning to not fight him cause he's optional I tought. I killed him in 3 tries, rock sling really putting in work in that fight. I cheated the fight I feel haha.
