Any ideas for Maliketh as a squishy mage?

So i got myself into quite a pickle with Maliketh. He pretty much one shots me in his second phase.

He also doesnt stay in a single place for long enough to cast any significantly damaging spells. Best 'tactic' so far so second phase i found was to hug pillars and cast Night Maiden's Mist, that said some of his attacks clip through pillars + he just jumps somewhere else after couple of ticks anyway. So that gets me only so far.

My BANISHED KNIGHT ENGVALL +10 also doesnt do his usual job of tanking for me, because he just saps his HP away in 30 seconds or so.

Any ideas on how to tackle this or cheese him would be appreciated.

respec any levels that you don't need into vigor you only need 60-80 int, enough mind to cast the spells you want, and enough end to wear the gear you want to wear.

I used Great Glintstone Shard. FP-efficiency was important so I could have enough red flasks.

Some of Maliketh's attacks will flash yellow before he throws them. These attacks can be parried by using the Blasphemous Claw item to put Maliketh into a special non-ripostable stun. Should be more than ample enough time to use some hard hitting spells you can't otherwise use due to his mobility

The game is built around making it difficult to kill bosses. So maybe try giving people advice instead of just jumping in to kill a boss for them. If they ask you for a carry is different in my opinion. Just saying food for thought.

Instead of using banished knight summon get mimic tear its OP and slap on some carian magic. Carian slicer, carian sword are great for killing all bosses. I would maybe suggest using moonveil on switch * magic knight * build type approach. I'm not sure if you are just trying to use spells and only spells but I loved playing the Carian Knight build it's probably one of my favorites other than faith / bleed builds.

I used mimic tear and rock sling. Just try to let the mimic take all the aggro. Should be done within 10 tries.

You don't want to be squishy. Level vigor to 40, 50.
Summon Crystalian, few bosses can kill him.

Using pillars to hide and casting Comet did it for me.

The Handyman's way.
light bow (Ash of War: Barrage) + Serpent arrow + Rotbone arrow
Use Blasphemous Claw to deflect Black blade.

The mage's way
Use Rock sling to stun him.
Or Moon and Great Glintstone Shard.
Put Raw meat dumpling in and use mimic.
