Hot take: Mohg is HARDER than Malenia.

I'm talking without summons, spirits or players. Just you vs the boss. His second phase is almost impossible to dodge when he pukes that ♥♥♥♥ all over the place. I'll try to see if the shackle helps but I'm not sure.

Mohg is a boss that punishes cowardness. The key to win is staying close and not fall for his combos as he often tends to launch a 3rd attack after seemingly ending a 2nd attack. Use the flask component to negate his phase transition damage and you are good to go.

I've been dealing with that guy for a while now since I've slammed by head into him with +8 and +13 weapons for fun and by now I know every single of his moves and it all boils down to staying close. Even when he does the blood shower, just move to the very edge of it and stay in melee range. You do not want him at distance.

After Morgott, Mohg was one of the easiest main bosses in the game. Underwhelming difficulty. But good theatrics.

Yeah, outrunning her clones is possible. You just need to have enough distance in the first place. Keep running straight back for the first four clone attacks. Then continue running to the right to dodge the last clone and her own thrust attack.

Rant: Mohg is one of my least favourite bosses in the game. Even disregarding the crystal tear idiocy, his attacks leaving giant patches of bleed building fire turn the fight into The Floor Is Lava. Area denial is never fun in a bossfight and this would be a pretty fun fight if the lingering flames (or at least their bleed component) and tear retardation had been left out.

I found that staying close to him largely avoids this, unless he wants to be in his puddle of misery for a bit (apparently this is an invitation to use your ranged abilities).
