Save files + achievements

I started playing this game on my boyfriend's account because I wasn't sure if I will stick to it (I am not a Souls player). I'm really enjoying it though so I would like to buy my own version of the game. My questions is: can I copy my save files and just continue playing with the character and progress I already made? Will I get the achievements? Thanks beforehand for answers.

No as the save is linked to your boyfriends personal profile account.

Negative. It would have been a better idea to try this game through family sharing instead, which would have allowed your progress to be kept

Thank you, I will just start fresh. I'm only 20 hours in so it's not really that big of a deal, I just grew attached to my first character :D
