I really hope the upcoming DLC has better ashes of war.
I really dont like the ashes of war that goes on normal weapons. some ashes of war thats on weapons thats require somber smithing stones will really melt a bosses health in no time but even then these ashes of war are few and far between.

marais executioner swords ash of war is ugly for example but it does a tremendous amount of damage.

basicly if an ash of war hits multiple times its probably going to wreck any boss in the game. unfortunitly not very many ashes of war are multi hit like that.

i hope the dlc introduces new multi hit ashes of war that go on weapons that require regular smithing stones to upgrade them.

what we need is an ash of war that keeps attacking repeatidly until all your FP is gone.

That would be nice.

I actually prefer the AOW for normal weapons over the really fancy ones. But I'm more looking forward to new weapons. I like the moveset for the Zamor sword but it cant be infused and doesn't do much damage.

Cheese AoW's are not fun and I hope they do not add more of them. A lot of the normal ones are deceptively powerful or more useful than you think.

I'm replaying DS3 right now and it had some really wacky weapons in the DLC (Crow Quills being a rapier-claw, the small dragonhead shield being a mini-flamethrower, etc), it would be cool seeing more unorthodox options like that.

Also the door dual greatshields NEED to make a return in honor of the "You don't have the right, oh you don't have the right" meme.

i honestly think there should be blood flame infusions with ashes of war to go with them but the people that already hate bleed would hate it even more if that happened.
I hope they make deathblight a better hendurance

deathblight is a stupid status effect to use in pvp. they will die from your raw damage before they will ever die from it. it just builds up too slowly to be useful. but i guess if you could build it up in 3 hits it would probably be op.
I just hope they make the Elden RIng an actual, usable weapon or, you know, ring.

Yeah I was just going to say this. From Soft DLC's usually have some of the more unique and crazier weapons. One of my favorites was the Puzzle Sword thing from DS2 DLC.

There are plenty of normal ashes of war that melt hp bars or deal insane amounts of stagger dmg

sounds like a build issue
