ban from online

hi there! i've been trying convergence mod and seems like i accidentally logged in with that save to original elden ring. items->deleted, me->banned from online. each time writes like Inaproppriate activity, you are in offline mode now on all my saves

How do I get back to online with my account?

Same thing here. I did a file validation but I did not erase my convergence saves, that may be what got the ban. I actually dont care, the mods are way better than online for me.Reforged here I come

a verify does not delete any false files

you have to deinstall the game delete the gamefolder and probably the %appdata% elden ring folder

do you get a inappropiate activity detected or a 180 days ban message ?

if you only get a inappropiate activity detected message you are not banned and in your gamefolder are false files.

fromsoft should really fix that message to specify that it doesn't mean you're banned. but at the same time, they probably don't wanna help people who mod the game in any way, sooo......

deinstall the game, delete the gamefolder and reinstall it if the savefiles got altered you have to delete them too by delete the elden ring folder in %appdata% (you type into your taskbar %appdata%, this opens a specific folder where the gamedata and savefiles are stored)

hopefully no savefile at steam cloud got altered or you have also remove the steam cloud function before delete in %appdata% folder.

the problem is this message is tied to different causes, it also pop up if windows files are not ok or code get injected into them or even instable overclock is in use and bit errors appear during load files.

If you went online with a mod all you can do is delete everything inc all saves and turn off cloud save if used and wait till the ban is over if its the 180 day one which im guessing it is.
