Update bios, install the actual drivers for your Mainboard and check again, install/move the game to drive c.
In rare cases it is a Controller Problem check if kb&m cause the same problem (Controller removed from the system).
kb&m means keyboard and mouse.
My own advice is unplug/disable all the devices you have connected to your computer outside of keyboard/mouse/screen, and run elden ring, see if it does it still. If it doesn't, replug/enable your devices one by one until you find the culprit. Also disable pad and such if you're on a laptop. Could be caused by something as silly as your palm resting on your trackpad. >//<
Edit: I use PS4 controller myself but I don't need DS4, it's automatically detected by windows.
Yes, all devices except keyboard and mouse, you still need something to control Elden ring. But yeah, phone, camera, everything except keyboard and mouse.
If it still does it, try unplugging keyboard and mouse.
This is probably an unexpected device sending inputs to elden ring ? Probably has nothing to do with your controller if it still does it when your controller isn't interacting with your computer.
Make sure there's no devices connected via bluetooth and such as well. ^^''
Idea behind this is to isolate the problem~ Much easier to tackle than some blanket "my camera is spinning for no apparent reason".
I'm happy I could help, friend, no need to gift me anything rofl. ♥ The thought is more than enough.
If it isn't the same reason as mr Spongebob, it might be controller drift. Same thought process, unplug as many devices as you can from your computer, test with keyboard and mouse hooked to the computer only, see if it happens, turn on controller, check again if it happens, if it does at this point, controller is the problem, if it doesn't do it with only keyboard/mouse/controller hooked to the computer, it's something else.
Also, make sure you're not running multiple things that might affect your controller, like, I know there's a software a lot of people use to register PS4 input, I don't remember the name (DS4Input ? something like that), but windows 10 recognizes PS4 controller inputs, so you don't need any software afaik~ I run mine via bluetooth and it's natively recognized. If you need the software because you don't have bluetooth, I can't help you with that, I haven't used it in like a decade rofl.
Like... "my camera keeps spinning" is pretty vague, I will need more details if that doesn't solve it, like, does it slowly turn when you're at rest (very likely to be controller drift), or is it like, maximum spin all the time (very likely to be another input device sending signals to the game) ? I will need as much context as possible. Try the solutions I gave OP first tho.
It has a couple of controls that work like mini joysticks.
Interestingly, I didn't have this issue the first time I launched Eldenring.
I must have done something to the throttle functions to mess up the calibration.
Still odd though.
