0.8 ms, fast IPS, g2470HSU, 165mhz, freesync monitor.
If this was a 5 ms VA then sure I'd understand but it's not.
I feel like it's linked to either AA, CA, or the capped 60 fps.
I hope I'm wrong here but are you one of those people who think the only things used are those in the settings menu?
Because I've seen mention of this games chromatic abberation in like over twenty different threads on reddit/etc
I can not see a single function call to directx for chromatic abberation. This game calls always a full rendering of 360 degree around the Player Position.
To be able to build a PC means nothing, i'm a complete different Liga far above of normal users and diy guys.
There are things you can not google or learn by trial and error, you have to study and work in this area.
If the ppl i encountered since may 2022 with problems running this game would listen to reddit, they would even not today be able to play the game.
Reddit is not a source of information, it is mostly a pile of laymans speech.
If you play in boderless Window it is caused by this, the game is made to run in 60Hz fullscreen, running it in boderless window at a 165hz monitor cause by default of the wrong configuration in use ghosting artifacts.
I think I'll trust my experience working in game industry alongside coders even tho I worked on the creative side, the software developers who've made programs that enable you to turn off CA, the multiple people who recognise it, the multiple people who want to turn it off, the multiple people who have toggled a turn of CA option and gotten the effect they desired... as well as myself who has worked in both photography and as a graphics asset creator, prototype designer and conceptual artist.
Than one person saying it doesn't exist.
I can literally see the effect myself, who are you trying to convince lol?
If i check the commands comming from the engine to directx i get always a 360 degree rendering call there is no additional call for chromatic abberation or a split rendering call where a chromatic abberation would take place to merge different Split renderings.
It's been confirmed it's because TAA so dunno why you spouting bs lol
