In other souls games you can get invaded even solo, but elden less harder in that, you almost always fighting 2v1 or even 3v1 and with that you complain about its main feature
Elden ring not only PVP or PVE, its multiplayer game, what challenge you, if you summon someone you can make game easier but you get a chance of invading, you can summon BLUE for even more advantage but if invader kills blue he regens flask, so complain about Invaders and seeking ways to play ONLY without them is nonsense
You can coop with not invaders but you need to cheat for that.
If you post your stats and what gives you trouble specifically, people here can make suggestions to help you. In my experience, most new players have a bad stat distribution because stat-wise, there are a lot of noob traps at low levels. If you have a good stat distribution and use your numbers advantage, you will have a lot more success against invaders and might start enjoying the pvp.
In my honest opinion it's just so much better to play the game in singleplayer.
consider invaders as strong enemies that can pop up randomly. they're legit players who role-play as villains.
it can be rough at low levels tho, some invaders use stuff that isn't really well balanced for low-level pvp. but it will get better already around level 40 iirc.
p.s. level up vigor first. I made a new character two days ago and by level 25 it had iirc 31 vigor. I've put no level in any other stat until that point. I had more HP than several of the twink invaders that I met (I used the taunter's tongue).
Get seamless mod, get used to some invaders now and again, or just play offline.
It's absolutely a facet of the issue. You mentioned the damage disparity between the invader and your "main" but there's also the issue of defense that those extra stats give along with your pool of stamina. One =/>max level co-oper, even after downscaling, can be just as bad as fighting two co-opers and a host. Playing the devil's advocate, additional talismans and optimal late game gear gives them a fighting chance instead of just getting blown up by someone spamming l2. The issue is those gears aren't balanced towards normal players creating a chicken and egg situation.
I agree the pvp system is broken and the host tends to get caught in the middle but that's why I'm advocating for not agitating the arms race and particularly like Honk1's offering to educate op on game mechanics. There's also nothing stopping people from playing through the game single player and with the amount of options given to hosts you don't even need to "git gud" but multiplayer comes with its pros and cons. It's a staple of the genre and isn't going anywhere.
Snaze, Honk1's offer is good on my end too. Feel free to add if you'd like some help.
