I don't know what any of it really means. But if some tech person out here could help me figure out how to solve this... I would appreciate it :)
first of all there is a preview installed, version 22621.1928 is not the normal version of the kernelbase.dll if you did not manually installed this update (KB5027303) your system has a bug, if you manually installed this preview update try to deinstall it and check again if this solve the problem, maybe you have to use a new windows administrator profile.
also make sure you do not use outdated software or tuning software that could be incompatible with EAC (MSi afterburner can also be the culpritby wrong settings).
Upgrading to this version caused ER to crash constantly for me. I reinstalled the previous version and it worked again.
your problem has nothing to do with his problem, he can even not get past the EAC with this error.
it needs some competence to point to a problems cause.
I don't think I have any incompatible software that would interfere with Easy Anti Cheat software, as other games I have tried launching with EAC have actually launched, it's only Elden Ring that will not open.
I seem to have the same exact issue as the op, so if I create a new admin profile it should fix not being able to open the game? Or do I need to run event viewer first, if so I'm not sure how to run it?
