Application unable to start correctly (0xc0000005)

does anyone have a fix for this, tried verifying integrity of game files and later reinstalling and no change, I've previously finished the game and have 410 hours. It previously worked perfectly fine even on release but hasn't been able to boot for the past couple weeks and months

yeah i looked it up and got some reddit ♥♥♥♥ saying it may be trend micro, which i have, i think the game was beginning to ♥♥♥♥ up after i got trend micro on my computer even before this so i'll see what i can do. And yes this is on startup, the anticheat ♥♥♥♥ loads up but the game itself does not run

Try restarting the pc and running it or
sfcscannow
Command Prompt
Try that and then run it.

alright adding the elden ring folder within the steam library folder worked, posting this for reference for others who may be having this issue

Trend micro is garbadge it breaks security rules. Since patch 1.08 EAC is aware of the problem and Shows directly 0xc0000005 (access violation), this is why i asked this two questions.

When you see an article praising McAfee over something else, such as Trend Micro, I feel that it is safe to say that the software is garbage.

So far the amount of good third party Antivirus Software is low, i could only recommence one but it cost a lot of money, at the free ones there is no single one better than Windows defender.
