Strange crash (FireFox/EldenRing/Steam)
Recently my Game starts crashing when i have FireFox open in the background and after the game crashes Steam crashes aswell. I never had my Steam crashing since Steam exists. Without FireFox open the game and Steam run perferctly fine.

Does anyone have the same Problem or ever had it with another game maybe?

Not that i know ...
I have also changed nothing on my System and played nearly 300 without any problems, The other games work while FireFox is open, but EldenRing sometimes even crashes instatly now while FF is open. Sometimes i can run a bit around ingame and then it crasehs. When i close FF and start EldenRing it runs without any Problem. The most strange thing is, when ER crashes midgame Steam crashes aswell, i never had that befor in over 15 years.
Very strange :-/

I have same bug in cyberpunk. i thought it cause of video playback (streams or youtube), but sometimes it even with reddit or other static content. Without firefox all fine (even if i open exact same content in chrome).

What GPU you have (Nvidia or AMD)?

Firefox works fine for me, usually leave it open while I play and rest at a grace and alt-tab to use it. Might be worth mentioning on the Mozilla boards. I don't think there's an error crash log for Elden ring which might be a problem in pinning it down.

I run a lappy with 2060/AMD CPU, I played it flawlessly for 600+ hours without any major issues today it refuses, wondering if Win got a weird KB update.

Verified all files and it downloaded one file but still wont boot, all I get is a black screen flickering, no progress, no audio. Game mouse cursor shows.

there is one but it only says there was a access violation with a offset related to directx/GPU driver.

it would be a test worth to check if deactivate hyperthreading helps.
