Your Favourite Boss in the game

At first I loved Malenia the most. However recently, I found Maliketh seems to be more attractive .(Especially the transition to phase 2)

i find maliketh to be a bit annoying in phase two, presentation wise he is great but the fight
can be a bit dragged out when hes beyblading all over the place Xd, still a great boss id prefer godfrey the first elden lord or morgott the fell omen king both of them im my opinion have such interesting lore behind them and presence, the movesets are incredible, the phase transitions are fun and it always feels like a fair fight, i dont feel like i get cheated out by being one shot by certain moves and when i do i know it was my fault.

So far my favorite has been the black dragon just outside the starting area. It wasn't the most challenging as I'd already defeated Margit, but it was the most fun on horseback.

I died more times to Margit though, being so new when I first challenged him, than I did Godrick. Most aggravating has been the Crucible Knight. I just can't time his swings and his aggression is insane.

Right now I'm a bit of a way into Siofra River and next up is Ancestor Spirit I think.

I feel like Morgott should've been a little harder cause jesus he was way too easy when you get to him, it felt kinda like a Genichiro thing

To fight or just in general?

My favorite to fight was actually the Fire Giant. I know, crazy. But it was the first very difficult boss I beat without a spirit summon. He's one of those bosses that you can't just attack. I had my timing and strategy down to perfection.

Favorite boss due to lore and back story is Malenia. She and her brother are the only demi gods who showed even an ounce of care for the people their mother oppressed.

Malenia has two phases:
- learning the fignt
- knowing the fignt.
I see the 'good' ratings are from the ones who reached phase 2.

On topic: Maliketh, agreed!
Difficult at first, but with generous openings for you to discover, encouraging you to keep learning. Parrying without paying with your life.
Over the top spectacle, check.
Backstory, very heroic and very tragic as per trademark.

Nah I can see it. I was stupid and finished the game at level 51. But I used Cold Claws, so bleed and frost procs for all my damage. So those two got obliterated even though I was underleveled. As a result I had an awful time with the EB because he's immune to bleed, frost, AND like 70% resistant to magic, which is what the claws primarily do.

Seriously in terms of damage design, EB is the worst boss in the series. Being immune or nearly immune to most kinds of damage is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
