Screen glitch???

i dont know why this situation keeps happening to me. Every time i open elden ring on steam and my game screen just naturally shrinks down to the top left corner of my laptop screen and it just looks like how you minimize ur browser screen and drag it top a corner. I thought it was a display size error so i go to the setting and try to change the size as big as possible but the game just suddenly glitch, every fking time!!! anyone know about this??

Every time i start the game, it small screens to the top left, like you say, but then it naturally goes full screen by the Title screen. I think you screwed it up by messing with it.

its so weird and i did let it run itself before and 99percent of time it just stayed minimized and when i mess with it , it comes back to full size in that 1 percent

change the display to borderless window mode and make your game settings file in the appdata folder- set it to read only so it does not revert back even after an update.

its a game issue im not sure if your issue is the same as mine but what i do is alt-tab then the game is back to normal

this behaviour is mostly caused by a GPU driver malfunction at the display profiles, a clean reinstall helps by delete the driver with DDU and reinstall it.

i have alt tabed it before and it did help me change the game into normal size but i was literally smashing tabs lol
