Disable e-cores?
Is it safe to disable e-cores?

Is it so uncheck the cores?

It is entirely safe to disable e-cores in your motherboard's BIOS-settings (as long as that's all you change). However, this will reduce performance for most other applications, so you always have to re-start your PC, go into the BIOS and enable it again, if you don't play Elden Ring and want to use some other CPU-heavy game/software.

Keep in mind, only Intel 12th and 13th-gen i-core CPU's have e-cores, so if you're on AMD or older Intel CPU's, this option will not be available to you.

Use a program called Process Lasso and force the game to run on the "legit/affinity" CPU cores instead of the logical ones...

It's better than just strait up turning off the cores in the bios & slowing down a stronger CPU, but whatever works at the end of the day. That program isn't always the magic fix, but it sure does help a lot of the time on my end in the past & currently with my Core i9 - 13900KF.

can u explain in details? Do U download Process Lasso, edit affinity and has no errors with EasyAnticheat? When i try correct somethin i just have Error "Access is denied" or i need disable anticheat and play offline mode and then i can edit cores cpu. U can play with online/anticheat and still edit cores?

right process lasso and any other app that act the same way is incompatible with the EAC settings this game use.

it can also cause a ban and malfunction of elden ring. lasso was in the past one of the tools that caused multiple crashes with elden ring too.

there seams to exist a bug in the e core CPU's itself the hyperthreading pairs the wrong cores for unknown reasons (e core to p core insteed of e core to e core and p core to p core).

sometimes deactivating both, e cores and hyperthreading in bios, boot the system and activate hyperthreading alone and boot the system, than activating the e cores afterwards can correct this bug.
