Do you lose all smithing stones in NG+ ?

Wondering if I will lose all my Ancient Dragon and Somber Ancient Dragon in NG+. Wondering if I pretty much need to max out new weapons just to not lose them.

Nope. You only lose certain key items.

You also keep the bell bearings that you collected that allow you to buy them from the twin maiden husks. So may be worth it to get all of the bell bearings that give you dragon smithing stones and glovewort.

I think there are only a couple more types that you can keep outside of the upgrading ones

You can't buy Ancient Dragon Smithing Stones. Otherwise it's good advice.
