Is Godrick's Axe worth it?

So I have Godrick's Axe and finally have enough Strength to two hand it but carrying it puts me at a heavy load. Should I wait until I have enough endurance to be at medium before using it?

the axe isnt that good. i command you kneel is so slow its hardly worth it.

if you want to have a lot of fun with a big 2 handed weapon go with the big hammer and then put sacred blade on it.. then make change afinity to sacred. now upgrade the hell out of it.

its super easy to 2 hand. and you can still get quick rolls with armors like warrior, caiern or royal remains. you'll be super op and loving the game.

put turtle tailsman into slot and assasins crimson dagger into slot.\

sub main weapon , claw mark seal, or dragon seal, and put flame cleanse me into magic slot.

put 3 flasks for fp...

then build 1 ashers summon up as much as possible..

be OP.. have fun stomping

there are no weapons in the game that are good enough to justify fat rolling. not fat rolling is easily one of the top priorities for any build.

there are certainly people who play thru the game fat rolling, but its never ideal or optimal.

there is even worse than fat rolling. there is no rolling at all if you put your gear weight up enough... im gonna try and do a no rolling playthrough as my next game. since it's brand new and no one has done it before.

Not anymore as i said above. First because his dad axe is just a colossal weapon, also because they buffed everything and the new set of attacks are just plain amazing. You basically get his dad moveset.

Before the buffs it was useless but now that thing is a beast.

Something about it's looks put me off from using it. It's a petty thing to not use a weapon simply based off looks but Godrick's axe looks like it's made of plastic to me? The coloring and whatnot. Compared to the other boss-axes you can get, His axe just looks weird to me.

Godfrey is the poster boy for steroids and strength. So why is his weapon a quality STR/DEX weapon? Makes zero sense and devs need to fix it.

At this point i honestly take raw damage, crowd control and hyper armor in consideration.

Even with whacky scaling the self buff from the Ash of war and improved damage of the new moveset makes it an amazing weapon. Dont care if they change it to INT and FAI, it just works. Live tested of course! So as always not an opinion.

So i dare to say it is the best "special" one. The best great axe hands down is the Executioner great axe with waves of darkness and frost. Massive crit damage and melts everything.

The "massive" crit dmg on the ExecGAxe pretty trash. It is a multiplier to the standard GAxe MV which is 50+160/50+200. The crit dmg on the weapon sheet is 110. Which means you add 10% onto the standard MVs.

Misericode and Rapier are the de facto best crit weapons by universes.

people value scaling too much. there is a good video on youtube explaining why scaling of weapons is sometimes misleading and has not as much of an impact as you'd think.

I'm just trying to understand why Godfrey, the guy who constantly talks about strength, drops a STR/DEX weapon with a C scaling. It needs to be an A at minimum.

It's like the Godfrey Icon that boost spells or incantations or whatever. Why the hell is it called the Godfrey Icon when there's not a single indication that this dude touched a spell, ever? Some of these decisions from From are kinda dumb imo.
