Achievements not working?!

how come I killed Malenia and Maliketh the black blade and didn't receive the achievement for it??? this is very frustrating as I am trying to get all the achievements and what now, I have to replay the whole game, kill them again and hope I get the achievement? how is this possible?

theres been alot of bug issues with steam the last week, not popping achievements. howver steam JUST updated. so try restart steam, verify game files integrety, and start up game again. hopefully after some minutes your achievement will pop. best of luck.

same issue here, just got frenzy ending and no achievement. welp i guess gonna have to redo the worst ending agane, thx steam.

have had this happen with mutliple achievements lately, both ER and DsR. my only current solution is sadly doing it again in NG+ or new character. i could be very wrong, i also saw someone mention you just need to beat another boss but not sure how itd work like that.

Download steam achievement manager its safe to use

I had the same issue with Malenia today, just download SAM from Github and add the achievement yourself.

well, if your ego needs this, go for it, sure.

Hi!

This happened to me yesterday as well (achievements were fine the day prior) and after a little digging it seems to be a steam problem. If you go to edit your steam profile, select featured showcase, do any of the dropdowns have "invalid for your account"?

If so, it seems to be a new issue that has popped up for achievements - and maybe other profile related things. Some people have mentioned existing achievements disappearing from their profile as well as new ones not popping.

I didn't get the legendary ashes, Cmdr Neil, or Melania ones to pop for me yesterday.

Sadly can't find any fix, so we might just have to wait. I wanted to comment though, incase this is the same for you and it's not just an isolated thing ;;

Of course if anyone does find any solution in the meantime, that would still be great ahah.
