EAC is not the issue.
Oh and trust me, the game would be infinitely worse without EAC.
in fact it is not EAC.
EAC has a noticeable effect on performance
yes it is
but to answer the question: no, no way to play standard online without EAC, you can play seamless coop with your friends without EAC but no invasions or arena or normal summoning
where are the evidence for your claim that EAC cause crashes ?
so far i analyse since more than 11 months problems with this game and there is no single EAC related crash so far.
Also the Elden ring seems to crash the most on loading screens
any crash of this game is related to your computer or windows.
check the event logs post the crash log and we can tell you where to search.
there is no way to compare this game with other games there is no other game with this engine.
Also I've tested both with and without EAC game. When I played without EAC I had stable 60 fps, with EAC enabled it dropped to 40 about shifting fps, so EAC definately messes something up in the game
again if it crash check your event logs and post the log here and real tech ppl like me can identify what is going on or where to search for the crash cause.
if your game goes down to 40 FPS with EAC and runs 60 FPS without it, you must have a really bad system setup (hardware and/or software).
