It kind of is the GOAT. It takes some patience but man that game is kind of incredible and honestly underrated.

I thought at first to give kingdom come: deliverance as an example, but the quests there are very interesting and there are also many different mechanics, but this doesn’t fit anymore, it’s not a role-player’s dream.

let's assume that what you just wrote made sense and that you're being intellectually honest about your point and my point--i don't roleplay in Final Fantasy. I don't walk around and pretend I'm the characters in the game. I do that in Red Dead. I do that in Dungeons and Dragons. But I don't do that in Kingdom Hearts or whatever. That's what I mean. I think you're confusing the genre of RPG games with actual roleplaying. Like, for instance, on a GTA roleplaying server--if you're on a whitelisted server, you have to actually play the part of the character or you will get banned. Do you walk around Final Fantasy using shift toggle to walk slow and pretend to be in a boy band? If so, more power to you. I like pretending to be a cowboy. Red Dead allows that. It has an actual online world with other players and proximity chat. And outfits. Gear with absolutely no stats--it's just flavor for the character. Most of the gear is that way. You're thinking of an entirely different thing. Fair enough. Call it something else then. We can all what I'm talking about roleplaying and we can call what you're talking about RPG's. NPC's with exclamation points over their heads and every cut scene can be skipped and you have to get the +2 sword to beat the netherboss or you won't get the new shield so you can beat the dark goddess.

Actually I'd say it's more of a "Please Help Me Reconcile My Software Purchases." I don't regret the ultrawide. Indeed, I can never go back. I regret the Elden Ring for $60. What a dipwad. I mean, granted, I did buy it like a month before I got ultrawide so it's kind of not my fault. I learned after the fact that it didn't support UW. And it's just kind of been a head scratcher ever since how a AAA game in 2023 doesn't support UW. And don't say because it's an online game because I can name you 400 competitive online games that support it. Red Dead Online has competitive modes. Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, etc.
