Just say "download seamless" or do not say anything if you don't have anything relevant to say
Personally, it's more because they make me tilt in-game when they pull low IQ moves during invasions. I see people who play like that all the time and it's preventable 99% of the time.
To tell me that I should just say "download seamless" or don't say anything is the same as me saying "either get better or don't complain".
I have every right to tell them to stop complaining if they have the right to whine on forums about something they don't understand.
Ultimately, this issue comes down to people who are simply not the target audience of this game not liking a certain mechanic. Which is fine. I don't love all the mechanics of every game I play.
But that's like me playing, I dont know, say, Stardew Valley, but then complaining I can't build buildings like in Sim City or have the social interactions like in The Sims.
Yes, the games could be similar in some way, but if I absolutely want those mechanics and I'm playing Stardew Valley, then I'm not the person Stardew Valley was aimed at, so I don't really have the right to criticize the lack of certain things, or how certain things work.
If you are not the target audience of a pretty niche game, you do not have the right to complain about mechanics that you simply do not understand.
They DO make the choice. I dont understand why you cant wrap your head around this.
I don't understand what's so difficult to grasp. This was a decision the devs made. It doesn't matter what people think about it. This is how they intended it to be played.
If the discussion could rely on the "target" argument then the targets of this game should be people who like bad optimized multiplayer experience, if this was the case then we'd have someone with really bad marketing skills since I don't believe that there are players looking for such a thing
And that's fine. But they also don't get to say "this is an unacceptable mechanic simply because I don't like it!"
As someone stated in this post, i think it was, it's hard to take the dude at a sushi restaurant who's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that he can't get a pizza seriously.
and I already said that I agree that the way matching works sucks, because it allows for twinking and laggy connections.
I'm specifically talking about people who don't like being invaded because they cant win and just complain, which is what 99% of these posts are about.
A mod cannot save a dev's game design choice. If I judge a game, I judge it vanilla, without considering mods (otherwise it'd be impossible to judge Skyrim, don't you agree?)
