Like Elden Ring with better co-op and no invaders.

Technically there are still invaders, if you count the NPC ones.

Great co-op experience, a bit glitchy at times, but overall fun. A far, far better balancing of enemy health, and damage for co-oping compared to base game. Things STAY difficult when co-oping with the mod. You lose invasions, but let's be honest... When every build is the same 3 tricks reused over, and over again... Who cares? Have fun with your friends, don't let the meta babies bully you into not using the mod just because they want easy fights with zero skill.

It becomes a very different game / experience, but a fun one.

There are some tripwires, like avoiding going to the Roundtable Hold without severing co-op first, or sync problems with scene swapping bosses and teleport traps / monsters.

It does feel very seamless, though and things are easier, but depending on your own skill not trivial and great fun anyway as all things done with friends are : D

It's great, just don't do anything without being in the game together, or else things can get buggy. Occasional de-sync with Torrent, other than that, it works perfect

Also I didn't know about the Roundtable thing... That would make a lot of sense based on my experience lol

I'm sure it is when you have to play it alone.
Im thinking of adding the seamless-mod, but Im already using the reforged-mod.
And right now I don't know how to run both together. Im even a bit scared that I could do something wrong and everything will be f'd up in the gamefiles.
And Even if the use of the reforged-mod is much more easy as I thought, but thinking of stacking more and more mods makes me more and more unsure.

it's not as fun without all the invaders...

I play with Seamless coop in combination with the Elden Ring Reforged mod.

It has been an absolute blast, especially because it adds a ton of customization for difficulties, ensuring it does not need to be a cakewalk whatsoever. In fact, Radahn is a genuine wall for us right now x)

However, it is not without its flaws. Teleportation goes through voting, and it sometimes needs a retry for it to work. Furthermore, torrent occasionally bugs out and refuses to spawn for the joined player(s), requiring a rejoin. Lastly, there sometimes seems to be a bit of inherent latency, but this was also the case in vanilla Elden Ring.

In short: I think the seamless coop mod achieves its goal in transforming Elden Ring into a genuinely enjoyable coop experience. I personally find the addition of Elden Ring Reforged worthwhile, due to the additional content and set of coop difficulties you can tweak your experience with. If you can look past the few bugs, it is great!

It is beautiful and great. It crashes very rarely and seems to stutter a bit more then the base game. CO OP sucks with out. Most of the seamless haters are invaders who are salty they don't have people to insta kill with thier twink min max build

Ive seen hosts and summons twink more than invaders but ok. Like I tried doing some invasions at rl60 to see everyone with endgame gear and im just walking over to them with a halberd and a parry shield in hand.

i grabbed it so i could use cheat engine in pvp with friends(quality of life stuff like instant respawn, or making hitboxes/grabboxes visible for practice, not cheating), and ended up doing a bit of pve with it, and while the experience of getting your friends into the world and how the co-op worked was amazing, it felt like the co-op phantom respawns totally broke one of soul's most essential, fundamental gameplay loops - getting to the next bonfire with only the resources you have. even with whatever debuffs are applied, having a co-op phantom die, and then respawn with full estus totally breaks that. you no longer have to actually get to the next bonfire with only the resources in your inventory...as long as the host stays alive, you basically have unlimited chances to get there. IMO with how much easier co-op makes the game already, the debuffs dont really compensate well for the additional advantage of phantom respawns.

i do feel like it makes the game to easy, but thats not really my actual problem with it - its the breaking of souls basic gameplay loop by allowing automatic phantom resummons that kinda ruins it for me.

It does not feel seamless at all. The disconnects/joining issues really make it feel unfinished and unenjoyable. Why bother with "seamless" when I could just do my own thing until I need/want to help?

Base game still lets you hookup with friends with a functional teleport system and without the awful voting. Horse with friends was fun, but it doesn't justify the state the mod is in.

I'll just go back to invading/dueling and play with friends/others the standard way.

NO! I am the ONLY Tripwire here!

It’s co op without the risk of invaders.

It’s the godrick the grafted way of playing the game.
