You casually running seamless is you playing a fancy easy mode mod.
I never had any issue with Monster Hunter World. whhen playing coop with friends.
Bosses are stat checks. Spirit summons can solo bosses. There's a flurry of OP cheesy builds that they let go unchecked, even in PvP. I mean it's open world on top of that, so a lot of content is either optional or allows you to easily come back later when you're much stronger than the boss beating you down.
I do think this is one of the few areas where this game deserves criticism. It's multiplayer has been underdeveloped for years, and by Elden Ring it really should be better. You can tell they wanted an emphasis on multiplayer for this title but they sure didn't put in the work to support that and if a small dev team doing it for free in their off time can accomplish it, surely FromSoft can as well.
