Disabled Steam Input?
Can you please tell what you get if you CTR + ALT + DEL -> task manager -> performance -> memory and check RAM speed and slots used?
I have 32GB DDR4 2400mhz Ram. Slots used 2/4
The exact ram chips I'm using are:
Corsair CMK32GX4M2A2400C16 Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 2400 (PC4-19200)
Elden Ring is the only game I play that has this freezing issue, and again, ONLY seems to happen when controller is plugged in.
Your issue is completely unrelated to the OP's issue. Probably best to make your own thread.
ER, DS3, and Sekiro have a bug that polls ALL devices connected to a Windows PC, and not just KB/M and game controllers. HDDs and some networked devices go into sleep mode after a period of inactivity. This input polling bug wakes them up unnecessarily to check for input and this results in a stutter each time it happens.
