Help getting pause mod to work on the deck

I want to play Elden Ring at work but I need to be able to pause it at a moments notice otherwise I won’t get anywhere.

I don’t normally use mods but I figured I would give the pause mod a shot so I can play it.

I downloaded the mod launcher, anti cheat toggled and the pause mod and put the folders in the Elden ring game file.

I extracted the anti cheat toggle and ran the .exe. It ask me to select a file so I pick Elden ring. That causes the game to launch from desk top and I’m unable to use any buttons inside the game. Also the pause mod isn’t working. If I launch the game inside the deck app the game runs as normal without the ability to pause.

Can somebody who is more mod savy than I tell me what I’m doing wrong?

if all you need is to pause the game there is no mod needed. You can just go into your inventory -> help -> menu explanation. The game will be paused while that window is open.

I know but I plan to play this at work where I will need to pause suddenly and possibly frequently. I won’t have the time to get somewhere safe enough to do the menu pause trick
