Can you get an infinite amount of boiled prawn?

When I look in the shop I get mixed results, there's a dash where the quantity usually is, but when I go to buy some it tells me there's 25 available, so I buy five and go back in, now it says there's 20 left, does it restock if you buy all 25 or is there a finite amount? If I can only get a few of them then I wouldn't really want to use them, cause if I use one for a boss and die then I'd just be wasting them

You can hold 99 at a time, the rest go to your storage box.
Crab is better.

Don't spend too many runes on prawns. The Blackguard Big Boggart will move to another location on Altus Plateau and sell the stronger version ( boiled crab).

One of the most important consumable in the game. Definitely worth to have full stock of the stronger version - boiled crab. Reduces physical damage by 20% for 60s and stacks with golden vow, talismans, black flame protection and other buffs.
Makes the game so much easier.
You can hold over 600 at once but can buy more at anytime later on.
