Colosseum made the PVP worse.

There is absolutely no build diversity and everyone runs the same stuff. Before this update i could find different swathes of players at places like MAG, first step, leyndell duel areas and now it is only the people running cheese builds. Not only are builds copy pasted but in duel matchmaking with no ashs and any location i am getting repeat opponents. All of this on top of not being able to sever from matches when i find dual spear or BHS users.

I tried the others but it is the same situation. I may make a new character at SL80 where the builds arent replicas of one another.

Also since its condensed the playerbase and all the non pvp players are in the same pool ive had 3 back to back duels with no honor. They didnt bow or wave or anything and instantly attacked me during my emotes or while i was using flame grant me strength. Where the hell did courtesy of emoting or letting an enemy pre buff once before fighting?

duplicating consumables is what kills it. If From doesnt solve that problem, then its hopeless.
At this point itd be best if From outright prevents using consumables in the arena.

Elden Ring's mechancis don't feel like they are planned for PvP. YOu can make a wide variety of characters to face the true game, but PvP feels like just a curious addition than part of it. Collosseum is worth its cost (0) so no complaints about it, but I don't like it either

I made a new character for RL120 and it's more tolerable but still issues like light rolling far exceeds pre-nerf BHS.
