Error Code: 30005 (CreateFile failed with 32.)

So I have this error. I've verified integrity of files, disabled anti-virus, re-installed Anti Cheat and no luck. I just purchased the game and was able to play yesterday for 7 hours perfectly fine.

did you used the this methode for the EAC reinstall ?

delete the 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' folder in C:\Program Files (x86)

then Use Registry Editor to delete all keys and values that had 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' to do this search up "REGEDIT" in search.
right-click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Find and look up the term EasyAntiCheat_EOS and delete.

then go into elden ring's game files in the installation folder and navigate to easy anti cheat, and click on the install_easyanticheat_eos_setup

a prompt will pop up and hit enter.

did you tried to set start_protected_game.exe to run as administrator ?

so far this is a EAC error.

I got it back to run but then when I put my PC to sleep or try playing again, the terrible Anti Cheat gives me the same error. Tbh, I'm done with this game. This was the last tad of frustration I needed. It's just not for me, I'm not having fun. Glad I tried it out though, I wanted to know what all this Souls like hype was all about.

it has nothing to do with the game, try if a restart of windows solve also the problem than your system has a problem with the sleep mode.

it has nothing to do with the game, try if a restart of windows solve also the problem than your system has a problem with the sleep mode.

Thanks for the advice but after doing some research, this error is very common. Searching threads related to errors/issues with this game makes me shake my head because the hype of this game is overshadowing the issues that it has on PC. I figured that if a game had 80k+ people playing it months after release and after it wins GOTY, the developers would have had a polished product, I was wrong. I have to disagree, it is the game's issue with how it handles files. All of this reminds me of the last game I had issues with which was Nier:Automata when it released on PC. Bless the FAR mod for fixing it. Maybe in the future I'll look into disabling anti-cheat and modding the game.

again it has nothing to do with the game it is a malfunction in your system that EAC does not get it's rights back. If a restart solve the problem too, it is a problem caused at your system that a security function does not boot up correctly from sleep mode.
