LOL
In case your question is really genuine, you have to learn the combat, go exploring and try to find guidance, where to go. Spoiler: your goal is to become Elden Lord
These games are some of the most fun i ever had, super glad i finally got elden ring for pc. If you take the time (timing is everything in this game) you will find one of the most satisfying combat systems in gaming.
The phrase "git gud or die tryin" is probably the best way to describe these games. Once you learn the distance of attacks, timing of animations, atc you'll be a master.
And if you can master the timing of it all, from the beginning, you're already half way to being a master
Unless you are really stupid and aggro a whole bunch of them, in that case it's run away or (probably) die.
Imagine having no clue about Lord of the Rings and watching the first movie for the first time.
A lot of things that you have no reference for is dropped on you in the intro, and no one explains why and how things are the way they are.
Why is that grey goblin hogging the ring. Why are dwarves so stupid. How is Sauron. Or what, even. Or why.
Well, it's a bit more streamlined in LotR, but you get my point I hope.
It's intentional, is the point. you get some framework dropped on you and you figure it out as you go.
This is where you learn not to force your way past something you have no clue about, or skill enough, or aren't powerful enough to fight yet.
Find another way.
The Tree Sentinel is intended to chase you into the dilapidated church behind it from the first site of grace. There you meet a merchant who sells some key items and gives some hints on what to do in the area. Go east from the church for the beginner encounters.
