But than a Dark souls veteran friend say, its exist a seamless coop mod to play Elden Ring like a real coop game.
(not this trash only invite for boss fights thing, thats still a 2010 game mechanic)
With this MP mod the game is amazing good and fun and the reason buying this game
Also, thanks to Nucleus App, you can even play it as a local coop game if you have multiple monitors and a rig that can run two or more instances of the game, which is amazing added value.
Okay, thank you guys for the replies. I think we will be getting it
Yes. If you attempt to use the coop mod while online, or if you attempt to take one of your coop mod saves online, you will be flagged and banned from normal multiplayer.
The mod completely removes the intended challenge and it will ruin the fun you get from overcoming adversity.
You will just now down everything with your friends and forget about the game without getting any memorable moments.
There might be minor inconveniences like having to kill the same boss once for every friend and having to re-summon, but that way you have the intended counter-balance that keeps balance of difficulty at appropriate level - invasions. It's the most fun mechanic of the game.
If you don't like that mechanic or want pure pve coop, I would actually suggest to play another game, as playing elden ring with coop mod will just make the game extremely easy for you, and thus the experience will be bland and boring - you will just mow down everything quickly and not remember any cool fights.
You can do it, just know what you're doing with your friend, and you'll be good. I believe in you.
