Elden Ring restarting the PC for nothing
Well, my PC requirements are...
B550M Tuf Gaming
5600x
3060ti INNO3D
1TB M.2 gen 4x4 (XPG)
2x16GB 3600Mhz (XPG)
WaterCooler 240mm Cougar Aqua
850W XPG Core Reactor
That's a specific part that the Elden Ring restarts my PC, more especifically after defeating the giant (initial part). I reinstalled the game, turned off the anti-cheat, I benchmarked all my hardware (VideoCard, Processor, Memory and etc...), no errors ocurred, and tried Cyberpunk on max setting with RayTracing and I played very well without crashes. So I don't know what's going on.
PS.: While benchmarking the hardware... the CPU temperature reached 51°C, 3060ti 70°C and Nvme 62°C. My case has good airflow. SuperFrame Hazy

yes check windows event log.

I hope it is not a eventid 41, this would point to a hardware problem.

start with basic stuff, update drivers, fresh install without mods, memtest
Ernesteps' Dec 22, 2022 @ 12:06pm
Firstly... Windows 11, there are two errors appears... First is Origin: volmgr 161(error) and after this kernel-power 41 (Critical Level)... And I update all the drivers, GPU, chipset, Windows and etc... and I tried memtest, no errors ocurred, and I monitored the power supply and Consumption, all running like a charm, and I played Cyberpunk on Max settings, using all the GPU % and CPU like 30% I guess and high memory usage.
Ernesteps' Dec 22, 2022 @ 12:07pm
I used CPU-Z, FURMark and memtest64, all passed without issues.
Ernesteps' Dec 22, 2022 @ 12:08pm
and detail, the windows is recently formatted.

this game cause in some areas fast power jumps the PSU has to handle and some PSU (or damaged PSU) are not able to handle this, there is no comparable game out there and also a benchmark can not simulate this behaviour).

post the kernel power log if it contain additional information if not it is in 99% of the cases the PSU and in 1 % a damaged windows installation.

you have to find out what this task 63 is that caused the security shutdown of power.

if it is always the 63

Well, I'll see and verify if all the cables are plugged correctly, and the PSU is modular, I'll try to put another entry to see if the problem will persist.

since you said you have a audiocard malfunction before the power shutdown the question is do you use a additional audiointerface or USB audio device ?

but this strange, if the PSU can't manage the "power jumps", Iif I benchmark something, like GPU, this would occur the same issue, because the GPU will consume the max energy directly, because I play Elden ring with 50w of GPU, and benchmark jumps to 210w.

Audiocard? No, the screen goes black and after this restarts the PC, but when the screen is black, I can hear everything before restarts.

the problem is there is no benchmark that test for usage jumps from 0 to 100% and back to zero.

I tried FURMark, the GPU goes to 210w instantly and if I disable, it goes to 15-30w
