Stuck in Ranni's Rise

I don't know what to do, I looked it up for over an hour and can't leave Ranni's Rise. I logged in today and none of her followers are downstairs. There's a barrier around the tower so I can't leave. I can't travel to any grace sites. I can't talk to Ranni because she's sleeping and when I try to talk to her all she says is "...". I tried jumping off the tower to die and spawn back. I tried talking to Ranni regardless, resting and talking to her again. There's nothing I can do.

Talk to ALL of the astral projections (ghosts) until they start repeating themselves. Afterwards, go back up and talk to Ranni again.

Also, make sure to rest at the grace, i.e. reload the area.

There's no ghosts to speak to. There's nothing around. I tried waiting for them to appear, I tried resetting, I tried dying, resting, reloading. Nothing works.

Is the site of grace there? Maybe try opening the map and teleporting while resting

Unable to teleport to any sites of grace.

Exhausted all dialogue - Iji
Exhausted all dialogue - Blaidd
Exhausted all dialogue - Seluvius
Went back up and talked to Ranni
Rest at Grace

You COULD try sending the elevator back up and jumping down the hole. I don't know why you would but, hey it might work lol.

If it wasn't clear already... there are 0 NPCs other than Ranni and when I speak to Ranni all she says is "..."

were you able to figure it out cause im having the same issue but my problem is that Ranni is also gone, all 3 spectre npc's are gone... stuck inside

Unfortunately I just made a new save... After literal hours of trying to research this problem I couldn't find any solution. So I just made a new save and hoped it didn't happen again...

Do you still have the old save? You could go to the lower levels where you should find the grace. If you rest at the grace it should also reset the area. At least it did for me. In my case through this approach I skipped the dialogue with Ranni (didn't know I had to go back up).

Attack ranni until she vanishes. You can undo that with the church of vows.

I'd just delete my save if this was my only option. Must protect Ranni at all costs.

I can't even attack her because we can't use weapons there

Old thread bro, but I am familiar with the bug you are experiencing as I encounter it in about 50% of playthroughs. The seamless coop mod typically allows you to teleport out of it but in the vanilla game you must have a friend summon you to their world in order to escape. Not sure why they never officially patched it.
