Look, most of us don't have a 12 foot wide, 24K 20000 : 16000, 8D moniter where you can actually grab Ranni's non existent t!ts. Some of us actually have to save money on stuff like... oh I don't know, food and utilities! So every time we get an update announcement, do us all a favor go outside, touch grass, and stfu.

Lucky b@stard. I'm just so tired of seeing it in every post. I mean we're getting an update that's unlocking an area everyone's been wanting to get into along with a massive pvp patch, and people are still complaining.

There is zero reason NOT to support it especially since the game already renders in the full display but then pastes black bars on both sides of your screen.

It would have taken less effort to just let us have the full ultrawide display. People complaining about this are completely valid as it's a dumb decision on FromSoft's part.

You say that but FromSoft decided to go the extra mile to intentionally block off parts of the display if you play on UW. it would have taken less effort to not and that royally pisses me off.

They could do that and just remove the black bars. People can ask for things even if others don't have it. What does your circumstances have to do with anyone else? All gaming is hobby and a luxury.

Blind, apologetic fans are the issue, not "whyners". They're one of the the reasons, why $60+ games aren't anywhere near the level of quality and polish, they could be. UW as well as raising the FPS cap to 120 would be absolutely trivial things to add, as is evident from existing mods doing just that, so they're perfectly reasonable thing to ask for.
On top, FromSoft doesn't exactly have the best track record, when it comes to PC ports (DS:R had UW, but ported by Q-LOC) and coupled with the fact, that people this time can't entirely rely on the modding community, without sacrificing online, the increasing frustration becomes understandable.

Being opposed to more options for games or being rude towards people simply asking for more options is just plain weird.

Whats really funny is that they coded it to not work; Once in a while the game will load and be full screen on my ultra wide... and then after a minute it goes back to the "standard" format. I find that super entertaining.
