The default location where your files are being saved is C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\EldenRing.
Highlight both files make a folder where you find safe paste the files.
To Revert just copy / paste the files from the backup folder back to C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\EldenRing.
When it prompts you to replace all files do so.
I always make five backups just to be safe every twenty five to thirty minutes. But name the folders whatever you want with a 1, 2, 3, 4
Mines like ERBackup1, ERBackup2.. etc
imagine not manually backing up save files for games such as elden ring....
if there is any hope left for you here is my file path for ER save file
This PC > Local Disk (c) > users > me > appdata > roaming = elden ring save folder
So in Elden Ring folder I have GraphicsConfig, AutoCloud.vdf and weird folder with lots of number. What should I do?
Did you try to Verify the Integrity of Game Files?
C:\Users\Your_User\AppData\Roaming\EldenRing
where "Your_User" is the user you use to connect to Windows
...
if you started the game and chosen "New Game" your last save (before reinstalling game) is gone ...
peace !
Thanks guys for enlightening me about how this sht works.
If it doesn't work, buy a tissue for your maidenless tears.
