I would 100% agree.
ER is only difficult if you choose to not use 70% of the tools the game offers you.
So the argument of coop removing the necessary suffering that defines ER is completely dumb.....

In ER you could always remove all difficulty in the game and dont have to suffer at all....
So that can not be an argument against ER coop
Well all those changes should only kick in when you play coop. Solo would still stay untouched.
How is online play killed. As i said. I am playing it and i was never part of this "online play".
I thought the arguemnt is"people want this online/pvp/coop" stuff. How can you then argue that a true Coop would take away players from the PvP. I thought all those people "WANT" pvp. Or not. Like what is it now make up your mind.
It kills of random invasions. People where available for random coop and invasions without the mod, now people can use the mod and are taken away from the pool for everyone who plays normal without any mods. Not sure why that was unclear for you.
As i said. I played Eldenring Solo before and now we bought the game for my gf too to play it coop. I was never part of any pvp online stuff with or without the mod.
Also it would only exclude those people who are not interested in PvP. So the only people suffering would be those who wanna do PvP against people who actualy do not want to do PvP.
So shouldn't From redesign the enemies and bosses rn anyway since, as far as I know, you can Co Op pretty much anywhere? The only real hurdle is Invaders but Co Opers just make gank squads to deal with those. Or sometimes the invader doesn't really know what they're doing. Or the invader is using RoB in a low level area to club seals. Or the invader jumps off a cliff. Or the invader has a really bad connection and gets disconnected. Or the invader is a PvP god that just destroys the Co Op players... What I'm trying to say is it can be pretty rare for Co Op players to get a good PvP matchup, and relying on PvP for PvE balance is a pretty stupid thing because no two players are the same. So one group may find it really easy, and another group may find it super hard, and the only difference is a dice roll on what invaders they get.
Oh and sometimes the invader finds a way to brick your save by hacking cheated items into your inventory or through other means. Yeah I know that particular one got fixed but still. Opening the door to random invasions also opens the door to cheaters who want to find ways to break your save. So whats wrong with just wanting a chill time with friends who you know you can trust?
1.) People who enjoy killing noobs with their fully geared low level invasion builds
2.) People who enjoy killing those people by ganking 2v1 while being fully geared and 200 levels over content when teaming up with someone low level whos only purpuse is to bait in invaders
the whole concept of invasion is bs.....

Not even outdated, just horrible. It was never good.
Yeah, it's the most unbalanced pvp I've ever seen. That + the lag issues easily makes it the worst pvp I've seen.
Whatever their intention with it was, the only thing it accomplishes is something that's frustating players and not in a good way.
Dude it is pretty easy to understand actualy. I said. Without the mod i played solo. We just bought the game a second time cause of the mod. There was and would never be any pvp/coop for me on offical servers. Okay. Come on it's not that hard to grasp is it?
