Most people got what they wanted out of the game. Myself included.
It isn't a live service game with new events every week so there isn't much to do unless you PvP or do theme builds, or play with mods
I also feel rather stupid for not playing the game back in February. I started in September when there were an abundance of guides and tutorials. Easily took 25 hours off of my playthrough and I regret it.
People get bored of the games they play and move on to newer ones. It's really that simple.
And i am totally glad that it isnt such a game!
A game should be exactly this, a video game that you finish one day.
Not a game that you NEED to keep playing because the Devs make you FOMO.
Still, i play it when i need some "Whack your butt" therapy. Same with the other Soulsgames, there will come a point where you will return. Every. Now. And. Then.
Because the reality is hitting people little by little that Elden ring didn't live up to the hype and that the devs are deaf to the community pleas.
did everything i wanted to do

The DLC will bring most of them back for as long as it takes to play thru.
30k is still a pretty good number.
