4th way to Atlas Plateau found!
From what I can tell and have researched, there are 3 current ways to reach Atlas Plateau.
1. Find the 2 medallions and use the grand lift
2. Take the Ruin Precipice route in the mountains
3. Get abducted by the abductor virgin at the bottom of Raya Academy

Recently I realized you can reach Lyndell, Royal Capital without setting foot on the Plateau by killing Radahn and another shardbearer and go from the Siofra Aqueducts to the Deeproot Depths and use the teleporter to enter Lyndell.

After using this method to reach Lyndell without going to Atlas, I was curious if I go back from the Capital to Atlas. Unfortunately I found if you go back to where the Dragonic Tree Sentinel is there will be a unenterable fog wall preventing you from reaching him.

I did find a spiritspring a distance away from under the bridge where the site of grace is, but trying to jump to it only seems to result in death.

So I ask. Is it possible to get from the Royal Capital to Atlas Plateau without using the traditional entrance of the Capital?

Okay so I did some more messing around and there is indeed a 4th path to Atlas Plateau! Though arguably a more complex and unnecessary path, but still one never the less.

After entering Lyndell from the Deeproot teleporter and going to the Capital Rampart grace, you can jump off the left side of the bridge facing towards the Dragonic Tree Sentinel. There is a small ledge that branches back around towards the boss thus giving you full access to the Plateau without using the 3 methods described in the intro.

Any idea if this breaks any lore? I’ve been thinking about going out of order and doing Leyndell earlier than normal.

I’ve killed Godrick and Rennala so far.

I don't think it does. You still have to beat at least 2 shard bearers to use the Deeproot teleporter to the capital, otherwise the teleporter won't work. Similar to how you have to beat 2 shard bearers to enter the Capital. It just lets you skip the entirety of Atlas Plateau.

For an out-of-order run I think it would work very well. Could be tough at lower levels tho since you'd need to fight the Valiant Gargoyles and Fia's Champions.

Sounds cool. Might still be interesting. I like to sometimes do the different playthroughs in different orders.

My first guy went through the Ruin-Strewn Precipice. But my current guy got the two halves of the Dectus Medallion fairly early, so he'll skip the Ruin-Strewn Precipice at first. The next one might use the Deeproot Depths method.

Did you do the Caria Manor before Radahn?

On the run I found the Deeproot method, yes, though I don't believe it makes any difference if that is what you are wondering.

I ask is because I thought there was a pre-Radahn quest from Three Sisters, Caria Manor? It's been a while.

Part of the Ranni quest will point you to kill Radahn if you haven't done so yet. But you can kill him at any point in the game and Nox will immediately become accessible (the first step to reaching Deeproot Depths)

Ah, that was it. Thanks.
Is the teleporter active if you just kill Radahn?
Is it active if you refuse Melina?

Yes and yes. This is probably the only route to beat the game if you say no to Melina.

What's the advantage of saying "no" to Melina? I often see people asking about no-Melina runs.

Sorry. It was unintentional. Saw that video a while ago and remembered it wrong.
